The Egyptian Association For Community Participation Enhancement (EACPE)- (General Coordinator of the Egyptian CEDAW Coalition) has organized a round table with members of the Egyptian parliament to introduce and discuss the second shadow report prepared by the CEDAW coalition. The report will be presented at the 45^th session of the International CEDAW Committee which will be held in Geneva on January 25^th, 2010 while the governmental report will be presented in January 28^th, 2010. The aim of this round table is to provide Egyptian members of Parliament with all data and information regarding various women's issues in terms of the CEDAW Convention previously signed by the Egyptian government and familiarize them with all non-governmental organizations’ proposed recommendations and required interventions in order to eliminate discrimination against women and equality.
